ევროპის ადვოკატთა ასოციაციის (AEA-EAL) თავმჯდომარის არჩევნები 13 ივნისს ჩატარდა.

ევროპის ადვოკატთა ასოციაციის პრეზიდენტის რანგში, ჩემი მთავარი პრიორიტეტი უცვლელი იქნება და ეს ევროპის მასშტაბით იურიდიული პროფესიის გაძლიერებას წარმოადგენს და ემსახურება მიზანს, რომ კიდევ უფრო გაიზარდოს საერთაშორისო მხარდაჭერა გარდამავალი დემოკრატიის ქვეყნების ადვოკატებისა და ადვოკატთა ასოციაციების მიმართ იურიდიული პროფესიის ევროპულ ოჯახში მათი შემდგომი ინტეგრაციის მიზნით.

აქვე, მინდა მადლობა გადავუხადო ევროპის ადვოკატთა ასოციაციის ყოფილ პრეზიდენტს, მარია სლაზაკს, რომელსაც უდიდესი ღვაწლი მიუძღვის იურიდიული პროფესიისა და ევროპის მასშტაბით ადვოკატთა ასოციაციების გაძლიერების საქმეში." განაცხადა დავით ასათიანმა.

ევროპის ადვოკატთა ასოციაცია (AEA-EAL) 1986 წელს ევროპელმა ადვოკატებმა ბრიუსელში დააფუძნეს. ორგანიზაცია ევროპის მასშტაბით ადვოკატთა ასოციაციებს, იურიდიულ ფირმებსა და ინდივიდუალურ ადვოკატებს აერთიანებს. ასოციაციის საქმიანობა მიმართულია ევროპის ქვეყნებში ადვოკატის პროფესიის მხარდაჭერის, ადვოკატთა ასოციაციების გაძლიერებისა და სამართლის უზენაესობის დამკვიდრებისკენ.

David Asatiani has been elected as the President of the European Association of Lawyers (AEA-EAL). The elections took place on June 13.

This marks the first precedent in the history of professional associations of lawyers in Europe, when the President of the organization is from a non-EU country.

David Asatiani is currently serving his second term as President of the Georgian Bar Association, a position he was re-elected to by the general assembly's annual meeting. Additionally, in 2021, he was also appointed as the vice-president of the European Association of Lawyers.
Expressing his gratitude, Asatiani stated, "I thank my European colleagues for their trust. Being elected President of the European Association of Lawyers is a great honor and responsibility. It signifies recognition of the Georgian Bar Association's independence, development, and adherence to European standards, and it demonstrates clear support for us.

As President, my main priority will remain to strengthen the legal profession across Europe and to increase international support for lawyers and bar associations in transitional democracies, aiming for their further integration into the European legal profession family.
I would also like to express my gratitude to Maria Slzak, the former president of the European Association of Lawyers, for her significant contributions to strengthening the legal profession and Bar associations throughout Europe."

🇪🇺 Founded in 1986 by European lawyers in Brussels, the European Association of Lawyers unites lawyers' associations, law offices, and individual lawyers across Europe. Its activities focus on supporting the legal profession in European countries, strengthening lawyers' associations, and establishing the rule of law.

Congratulazioni, Davit Asatiani è stato eletto Presidente dell'Associazione degli Avvocati Europei! Le elezioni per la presidenza dell'Associazione degli Avvocati Europei (AEA-EAL) si sono tenute il 13 giugno.

Questo è il primo precedente nella storia delle associazioni professionali degli avvocati europei in cui il presidente dell'organizzazione proviene da un paese non membro dell'Unione Europea.

Attualmente, Davit Asatiani ricopre la posizione di Presidente dell'Associazione degli Avvocati della Georgia per la seconda volta, in seguito alla decisione dell'assemblea elettorale generale. È significativo notare che nel 2021 è diventato Vicepresidente dell'Associazione degli Avvocati Europei.

Come Presidente dell'Associazione degli Avvocati Europei, la mia priorità principale rimarrà invariata: rafforzare la professione legale in tutta Europa e promuovere una maggiore integrazione degli avvocati e delle associazioni forensi dei paesi in transizione democratica nella famiglia legale europea.
Vorrei anche ringraziare l'ex presidente dell'Associazione degli Avvocati Europei, Maria Slazak, per il suo grande contributo al rafforzamento della professione legale e delle associazioni forensi in tutta Europa," ha dichiarato Davit Asatiani.
