Apostille certification confirms

Apostille certification confirms the authenticity of signatures on documents issued within the territory of Georgia, the authority of the person signing the document, and in case of documents certified with a seal or stamp - their authenticity.

Documents, that are subject to Apostille certification are as follows:

1. Documents issued by medical institutions within their powers

2. Documents issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and its bodies, as well as documents issued by educational institutions within their authority;

3. Documents issued by judicial authorities;

4. Notarial acts;

5. Documents issued by administrative bodies of Georgia;

6. A certificate confirming the identity of the copy with the original  issued by the administrative bodies.

7. Translation of the document, subject to Apostille certification, prepared by the relevant administrative body.

8. Translation of the document subject to Apostille certification by the administrative body is carried out within the body that is authorized to certify the Apostille of the documents issued by this administrative body;

Subject to Apostille certification are the originals of the document, as well as the material printout of the electronic document certified by an authorized person, or the electronic / duly certified copy of the material document.
